Don Do, DDS, MS
Running a pediatric dental office has always been his dream. With an insatiable desire to give back to his community, he opened Parkside Pediatric Dentists with the mission to help his child patients develop into strong, confident adults.
A California native, Dr. Do moved out to New York to enroll in NYU’s prestigious dental education program. After graduating, he attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida for his specialty degree in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Do enjoys lifting weights, racing his Miata, and perfecting his cooking in his free time. He loves spending time with his four children. Being a parent to young children gives Dr. Do first hand experience dealing with kids, which he translates into his dental practice.
Jennifer La Roque, DDS
Dr. Jennifer LaRocque was born and raised in Southern California, earning a B.A. in Economics and Latin American Studies from UCLA. Late in her college career, she decided a career in healthcare was her true calling. While taking the prerequisite science courses between college and dental school, she worked as a high school math tutor and discovered her passion for working with kids.
After graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco with her DDS degree, where she received the Charles Sweet Award for superior proficiency in the field of dentistry for children, she went on to earn her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from USC. In 2003, she returned to the Bay Area with her husband and joined a pediatric dental practice in Pleasant Hill in 2005.
Dr. Jen has worked as an advocate for kids in our county, as a volunteer dentist for Give Kids a Smile and serving on the board of the Children’s Dental Health Foundation of Contra Costa County. She has volunteered at numerous local free dental clinics, as well as in Guatemala and Cambodia with her family through the organization Global Dental Relief.
Dr. Jen has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for her commitment to volunteerism and community involvement. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Society.
Dr. Jen deeply values the role she can play in children’s lives by providing positive dental experiences that can lead to a lifetime of dental health, as well as promoting a child’s confidence and contributing to their overall health and well- being. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jen enjoys running, reading, cooking, travel, and especially spending time with her husband, daughters Natalia and Julianna, and their mini goldendoodle, Livi.
Sara Simanian, DMD, MBA,MPH
Dr. Sara Simanian believes every child deserves a gentle, joy-filled start to their dental journey. A UCSF-trained pediatric dentist and Ray Braham Award recipient, she combines science, compassion, and a touch of sparkle in every visit. A Bay Area native and coffee lover, Dr. Simanian brings warmth and heart to her work and her community. When she’s not caring for tiny smiles, she’s cooking up new recipes with her daughter, exploring parks with her husband and two little adventurers, Céline and Niles, or capturing life’s moments behind a camera.
Aaron Wong, DMD
Dr. Aaron Wong grew up in the Bay Area with a lifelong passion for science and healthcare. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of San Francisco before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Midwestern University in Arizona. His passion for working with children with special healthcare needs led him to pursue pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Aaron completed his pediatric residency at NYU Langone – Missouri, where he was selected to serve as chief resident. He is dedicated to making every visit a positive experience and partnering with families to build healthy habits from an early age. Taking a preventative approach to care, he works closely with families to set children up for a lifetime of great oral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Aaron stays active through weightlifting and rock climbing. At home, he's always experimenting with new recipes and catching the latest soccer matches.
Cyndi
Office Manager
Cyndi has worked in dentistry since 1986, she started at this office in 2004! She lives in Concord with her husband and 2 dogs. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and frequent trips to Disneyland.
Nallely
Treatment Coordinator
Meet our scheduling coordinator, Nallely aka Nelly! She has been in the dental field since 2013! When Nelly is not at work she enjoys reading, podcasts, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and her dogs! They enjoy going to the park, swimming, and spending time outdoors.
Araceli
RDA
Araceli has been a RDA for over 20 years. She grew up in Concord, and moved to Pittsburg after high school. She is married and has 2 girls. When she’s not working here at the office, she is watching her daughters soccer games, going to dance performances, teaching CCD classes or helping out at church. In her spare time she loves going camping, taking trips to Texas or just spending time with her husband and girls.
Kristi
Lead RDA
Kristi has been a RDA since 2006 and has worked at our office since 2011! Kristi enjoys going camping with her husband and three kids. When she has some quiet time she loves to read and watch Netflix.
Lindsey
RDA
Lindsey started in pediatrics when she became a RDA in 2013 and has worked at our office since 2016! She loves spending time with her four kids. Together they enjoy movie nights, sports, and spending time at the pool. Lindsey also has a part time photography business @lindseyferrarisphotography!
Alyssia
RDA
Alyssia AKA Aly, has been in the dental field since 2019, starting with adults and staying in pediatrics. When not working Alyssia loves to be spending time with her husband and dog hiking in the bay area, baking lots of different treats, cooking, boating on the delta, or visiting family and friends back at her hometown in Marin County.
Melanie
RDA
Melanie is our newest addition! She joined the team following her DVC internship at our office! She enjoys working alongside kids and providing them with a positive experience. When she's not at the office she loves spending her time with family, friends, exploring the outdoors and listening to music.
Katia
DA
Katia is a creative and compassionate person who loves art and reading. She is especially passionate about working with kids and finds it incredibly rewarding to support their growth and confidence. She strives to create a calm, positive, and welcoming environment- especially for young patients who may feel nervous about their visit.
Nadia
Receptionist
Nadia spent five years working with kids in an elementary school before transitioning to an orthodontics office, and then joined our team at Parkside Pediatric Dentists in 2026. Outside of work, Nadia loves to cook and to spend time with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and their bearded dragon.
